Belanja brings the vibrant flavours of Malaysia to Copenhagen through modern sharing plates, natural wines, and warm hospitality. Rooted in tradition and inspired by travel, Belanja creates an experience where authentic food, great wine, and meaningful conversations come together. The name "Belanja" means "to treat" in Malay — and that spirit runs through every plate. The concept was born from chef KC Chan's nostalgic love for Malaysian street food, paired with co-founder Alessio's expertise in natural wine and Yohann's meticulous eye for detail. Signature dishes include curry laksa with handmade rice noodles, lion's mane rendang, satay, and sticky rice grilled in banana leaves — all reimagined with Scandinavian elegance and paired with carefully selected natural wines. Sustainability sits at the core of how they source and cook.
