H. C. Andersens Blvd. 37, 1553 København
Dhaba Kitchen brings the soul of Old Delhi's street food to the heart of Copenhagen — H.C. Andersens Boulevard 37, right in Indre By.
Modern Indian cooking meets Nordic sensibility, small plates are built to share, and tasting menus walks you through the flavours of the subcontinent one course at a time.
The Dhaba tradition itself goes back five centuries — food stalls that first fed travelers on India's busy roads, and later became the meeting places of Delhi's markets, where Bollywood stars, rickshaw drivers, students and businessmen sat down to eat together across every barrier of class, religion, gender and ethnicity.
That spirit travels with the food. Founder Enayatullah Safi puts it plainly: "Love is my fuel. It is the most important ingredient in Dhaba." Everything else — the spices, the warmth, the welcome — follows from that.
Guiding it all is the Indian principle of Atithi Devo Bhava: the guest is divine.
Why Dhaba Kitchen joined Kreds
"In the Dhaba tradition, every guest is divine — no matter their class, religion or trade. Joining Kreds felt like a natural way to extend that welcome to the people who spend their working lives welcoming everyone else."
