La Posata is a cozy Italian focacceria with two homes in Copenhagen — one tucked into a quiet corner of Indre By on Valkendorfsgade, the other on Amicisvej in Frederiksberg.
Both spaces carry the same idea: bring a piece of Italy to the city, and do it with the kind of warmth you only find in a proper family-run spot.
The heart of the kitchen is the focaccia — slow-fermented sourdough, baked fresh every day until it sells out, and stuffed with high-quality Italian products alongside fresh Danish produce. Beyond the sandwiches, there's homemade pasta at the Frederiksberg Pasta Lab, antipasti to start, and tiramisu to finish. Half the menu is vegan or vegetarian, so there's a real seat at the table for everyone.
Walk-ins are welcome throughout the week, and the pasta and table-service dinners on Thursday through Saturday evenings are worth booking ahead — small rooms, cheerful staff, and the aroma of fresh focaccia doing most of the work of transporting you.
