What KREDS is

 

KREDS is a membership for people who work in Copenhagen hospitality. Members get discounts and invitations at partner restaurants, bars and cafés. The app is free to install and free to sign in to.

Common questions

 

I've signed up but I can't see any offers.

 

New member applications are checked by hand — we confirm you work in hospitality before opening the offers. This usually takes a day or two. You'll be able to sign in the whole time; the offers appear once you're approved.

 

How do I claim an offer?

 

Open the offer, tap Claim, and show the screen to the venue. Staff enter their code to confirm it. Nothing is paid through the app — you settle with the venue as normal.

How do I delete my account?

 

In the app: Account → Delete account. Your name, email, photo, verification document, role and workplace are erased straight away. We keep only the accounting records Danish law requires us to keep, with no link to you.

 

I've forgotten my password.

 

Tap "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.

 

Do you track my location?

 

Only while you have the map open, only if you allow it, and only on your phone. Your location is never sent to us. Decline it and the map still works.

 

I entered a friend's member code and nothing happened.

 

That's intentional. Friend requests are blind: we never confirm whether a code belongs to a real member, because doing so would let anyone work through the codes and harvest the membership list. If the code was right, they've got your
request and can accept it.

 

Something in the app is broken.

 

Tell us at hello@kreds.dk — what you tapped, and what happened instead. If you can, include your phone model and iOS version.

Interested in listing your venue? Email hello@kreds.dk, or use "Partner with us" on the app's sign-in screen. Venue accounts are reviewed and approved by us before they go live.
